A loving God imagined and longed for me?

At one time or another, we all ask ourselves about the Genesis account of creation. How we view creation, and how we understand the lessons in Genesis, deeply affects how we view our lives and our faith. Through original poems, artwork, and photography, In Seven Days?, by author and artist Roslyn Gatts Alexander, presents a fresh, positive outlook on God’s creation of the universe and offers new understanding of the Bible account for readers old and new.

Alexander’s bold and beautiful illustrations enhance our journey through the first seven days, and her lyrical verse provides a playful, modern retelling of the creation story to which we all can relate. Also included are Original Sin, God’s plan for our redemption, and a celebration of His light and glory. God desires relationship with us, and by personally seeking Him we return his admiration and walk in his everlasting love.

Roslyn attained a Board of Governors degree from Eastern IL University with a minor in fine art and an associate degree in Occupational therapy from Parkland College, Champaign IL. She has evolved as a specialist in fine motor skills for handwriting and arts and crafts. Roslyn works with children requiring inspiration to overcome developmental delays and has acquired the ability to project a positive outlook with her students and parents who need a fresh take on daily challenges to achieve success. In 2008 she composed Blue Earth with some of her first digital art pieces. In 2011 she published In Seven Days?, and Bread of Presence, Jesus has always been with us, with Crossbooks. Her web site is Roslynart.com.

Bread of Presence, Jesus has always been with us, is lovingly illustrated with digital art. Each article for worship in the Temple of King Solomon is illustrated to draw a bigger picture of Christas the Bread of Life. The Ark Of The Covenant, The Dwelling Place, The Lamp‐stand, and The Table of the Bread of Presence, are some of the titles that illustrate the content in this inspirational picture book that leads each reader to a greater understanding of the act of taking communion and why Jesus called Himself the “Bread of Life”.

This book makes a lovely coffee table book, or a beautiful gift book for anyone taking first communion or reflecting on his or her own life as a believer. Readers young and old find themselves captured in the content and reflecting the Truth in these Biblical passages, images and poetry.

Perfect lamb, without blemish—all God, and yet all man—He walked and dwelt among us, offering us bread of life with human hands.
