Now that the hectic holiday season is past, you may be longing for a respite for a weary body and soul. If you live in an area where winter has taken hold for the long haul, you are probably also wishing that your escape could be somewhere warm and sunny. If you are fortunate enough to live in the Palm Beach, FL area, or are able to get there this winter, you will want to book a stay at the PGA resort. Now don’t fret if golf is not your thing, there are many amazing amenities to take advantage of at this spectacular resort.
The spa, which I will discuss further, is so extraordinary that you may never wish to leave. However, be sure you break away and check out the other amazing opportunites offered to relax and play. There are five championship golf courses.
Wouldn’t 18 holes in the sunshine while the folks back home are shoveling out their driveways be wonderful? After all that golfing, (or instead of) spend some time at the amazing Waters of the World spa. This is a spa like no other because here you can dip into these amazing waters from the far corners of the earth without leaving the USA.
Water from: THE DEAD SEA
For centuries, travelers have bathed in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea. Famed for it’s salutary effects on irritated skin and anxious minds, the waters of the Dead Sea also soothe discomforts arising from today’s hectic lifestyles and environmental stresses.
High in the Pyrenees Mountains, the chilly, pristine waters of Sallies de Bearn have long attracted health seekers. We invite you to bathe in the Pyrenees salt pool, which helps to moderate fluid retention, body temperature and mood swings.
As if the healing waters were not enough, there is a breathtaking pool, a state of the art fitness center, tennis, croquet (so cool) and the list goes on.
When you need some fuel for your body, there are many options available, from pool side to the Ironwood Steak and Seafood’s fine dining. Of course, there are also lounges and casual dining options.
In 2009 this 379 room resort was treated to a $65 million dollar revitalization so you will find that everything here is modern, upscale, lovely and extremely welcoming. Each room has a terrace or balcony for taking in that lovely Florida sunshine.
Outside of the resort you will find the city of Palm Beach, one of the world’s most famous and luxurious shopping areas. In addition to shopping, there are world class beaches, fine dining establishments by the dozens and many other cultural attractions. Palm Beach is home to racetracks (cars, greyhounds and horses), polo, museums, countless art galleries, wildlife parks and sanctuaries, and famous gilded age homes (some open for touring).
Whether you choose to golf, lounge by the pool, or shop, take in the south Florida sun at it’s most luxurious at the PGA Resort and Spa.
