About Victoria Boster
An empty nester who now spends many hours crafting knitted artisan "nests"~~Vicki is passionate about her hobbies, her travels and her busy life. Vicki states that she loves to travel and that she and her husband are always either just getting back or just getting ready to go- someplace. "Our journeys have enriched our lives and made us appreciate our wonderful home, our family, and our friends."
Between travels Vicki works full time as a Neonatal Nurse in Huntington, West Virginia. Her career spans over 35 years of Neonatal Nursing ~ "little babies are my one true love~~their tiny little hands and feet ~~ when they wrap their fingers around mine - my heart swells for the chance to help this little one to grow and develop. When I am away on travels - my arms ache to hold my little ones."
Vicki also stays busy with volunteer opportunities in her tri-state area. She is on the Board of Directors for the Huntington, West Virginia Ronald McDonald House. She also is active as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for abused children who through the court system are placed in protective foster homes. "My volunteer obligations are a precious part of my very busy life! I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to help children in so many ways. Touching the lives of children is what I love most - when you help a child your heart is made full."
You can visit Vicki at her blog www.vicki-2Bagsfull.blogspot.com where she shares her crafts, travels, and all the happenings in her Sacred Yarn Room! "My suitcases are always in a state of readiness, one for my clothes, and one for my knitting - 2 Bags Full."
Vicki and her husband share their home with their special kitties - Homer, Captain, and Bitty Kitty. They have 3 grandchildren whom they adore~ Keri Beth, Maddy, and Mason.
