Shawna exemplifies fitness. Her positive attitude and natural zest for life are her greatest attributes and have everything to do with her success as a respected and recognized trainer within the fitness industry.
For over 16 years, Shawna has taken pride in consistently motivating and inspiring her loyal clientele. She owns and operates a thriving mobile health and wellness business specializing in private fitness training, nutrition counseling, custom meal and supplement planning as well as natural medicine. Being formally educated in all disciplines listed (Acadia University, York University and The Homeopathic College of Canada) Shawna is both well trained and exceptionally experienced to teach effective exercise programming, proper eating habits and complementary medicine. “On The Move” is also proud to offer an effective and results driven weight management program with an interactive online system that offers diet and exercise plans and demos as well as real time and detailed feedback from Shawna herself to help support your goals!
Shawna’s passion for fitness went beyond the teaching and coaching role from 2005-2007 when she competed in four fitness model competitions throughout Southern Ontario with favorable placing. These personal triumphs really helped fuel her goals even more as she studied to achieve her fitness and life coaching accreditation as she always has plans to expand her business. In the near future, new and highly qualified fitness staff will be brought on board to collaborate on new innovative fitness services to offer. This effort comes with the desire to remain current within the field and to have the opportunity to optimize the health and vitality of an even greater audience. Shawna aims to promote the importance and enjoyment of health and fitness, as she believes wholeheartedly that living healthy is the best healthcare. She stands firmly behind her business mission, which is to help as many people as she can to live as healthfully, happily and pain-free as possible.
Shawna is married, planning a family and lives in Etobicoke with her husband and business partner and their three dogs.
